Sameer had known Nisha since Junior High and after they got together he felt like he could talk to her about anything so he knew at that moment that she was the one for him. He loved her because she was intelligent, beautiful, and huggable. He knew that it was now time to propose marriage but he wanted to ensure that it would be special. He also knew that Nisha would want a public proposal while also being a complete surprise for her. His marriage proposal idea had to be perfect so he decided to come to The Heart Bandits for some help.
The proposal idea that we helped him come up with was public, had a huge element of surprise, and it also included a keepsake that they could keep well after the proposal to be reminded of that wonderful day. Since Nisha loved to cuddle, was outdoorsy, and enjoyed having romantic days on the beach, Sameer took her down to Belmont Shore Beach one Saturday afternoon. Andrea Patricia Photography was there to capture the entire event. We had never met Sameer before so in order to find him and help him pull off the proposal, he told us he was going to be wearing a white shirt that day and putting up a red umbrella at the beach. He set himself up with Nisha at a nice spot and they were quietly enjoying the beautiful day in Southern California. Out of seemingly nowhere a man walks up and set up two easels directly in front of their view. The man walked away as Sameer and Nisha were somewhat bewildered. A couple of minutes later, the man returned with two canvases and placed them on the easels. The man was an artist (Casey Hale Studio) and was painting something in such a manner that Sameer and Nisha could not see. Perturbed, Sameer and Nisha turned away from the artist. After several minutes of having their view blocked, Sameer decided to go up to the artist and kindly ask him if he could move. As he went up, the artist showed him the amazing artwork that he was creating. Intrigued, Sameer liked what he saw and told Nisha to come take a look. When Nisha approached, to her amazement she saw that one painting read “Nisha” written in the clouds over a sunset beach and the other read “Will You Marry Me?”. Astonished, she turned around to see Sameer on bended knee with the ring in his hand. She was absolutely thrilled and of course said yes! She was delighted to have had everything she had wanted into a proposal and had amazing pictures to show of that wonderful day. The proposal was amazing and Sameer and Nisha were both completely thrilled.
