Hello Diamond Pro Readers! My name is Annie. I was born into a very peaceful family as a second child. I was very active and did a lot of sports in school. In high school, I became a skilled volleyball player and started going to tournaments. After a few years of doing that, I fell in love with dancing, especially Latin styles (I was also a tap dancer before that). My friend and I went to an amateur contest, won, and started practicing with real dancers. It was an amazing experience.
After college, I decided to travel a bit (something that my parents couldn’t afford to do with me when I was a child). I always wanted to visit European countries, such as England, Norway, Austria and even Turkey (half Europe, half Asia), so I did. I had so much fun on my way and met a lot of very interesting people who became my friends.
One summer afternoon, after getting back from all my travels, a friend of mine invited me to a party that changed my life completely. That’s where I met Mike. We had gotten to talking and got along really well. A few weeks later, I mentioned that I was looking for a job and he offered me one immediately, as he was looking for an assistant that had time to deal with everyday work. It was an opportunity to start somewhere, so I said yes. During those first months of helping him, I became very interested in what he was doing and started learning more about diamonds. The company was growing very fast and they needed more people. By that time, I was already completely hooked, so when Mike offered me a better position, I said yes without a second thought.
I’ve been working for The Diamond Pro for over 10 years now and couldn’t be happier. After undergoing Mike’s long, comprehensive and intensive training under his close supervision, I started helping our readers on my own. Since then I have helped over 50,000 people.
What these guys are doing is truly impressive and I’m very proud to be a part of it!
