Looking for round-cut diamond, F+ color, eye-clean, 1.5 carats, for a white gold solitaire ring for around $7,500. Is this possible? What would you advise?
Clarity-wise, I always search in the SI2-IF range and pick the best eye-clean diamond I find. I make sure it’s nicely cut and has no visible imperfections.
Look at the following:

They are eye-clean and I checked their certificates and can confirm that there’s nothing that would indicate any lack of brilliance. All three are beautifully cut.
I see some (what look like) cracks – are these all structurally sound – no risk of breaking?
The specs you see are twinning wisps, they are thin lines going through the diamond and completely harmless.
I had a look at a few more, and have narrowed it down to 4. What are your thoughts on these?

Strong blue fluorescence should be avoided on I and higher colors. It would make the diamond look dull and hazy.

This one has a Cloud mentioned first. It usually means that cloud is the most important inclusion and it can make the diamond look hazy in daylight. I’d skip it.

Medium fluorescence is an issue on G-D diamonds as it usually causes haziness.

The same issue here.
Thank you so much!
I’ll go with the one you recommended: www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.30-carat-f-color-si2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-7315728?a_aid=dmnd1357
It’s an excellent choice. Enjoy!
